At 3 a.m., it was my turn.
I had to wake up, layer on gear, strap into my safety harness, and climb on deck.
It was pitch black. My eyes needed time to adjust.
I couldn’t tell who else was up there with me.
I didn’t know where we were—or even what direction we were headed.
Before I could do anything, I had to stop…
Look around…
Figure out where I was and what was happening.
I had to get my bearings.
That moment reminded me of something I see in almost every client I work with:
You’re not trying to be perfect. You’re just trying to hold it all together.
You show up. You keep going.
Because somewhere along the way, you learned that being productive, available, and steady was non-negotiable.
You’ve built a life that runs—but maybe it’s been a while since it felt like yours.
You don’t feel like you. You’re tired in a way sleep doesn’t fix.
And you’re starting to wonder, quietly: “Is this working for me?”
You’ve just lost your bearings.
You are more than your LinkedIn profile.
Yes, you heard me right!
You are more than your calendar. More than your inbox. More than who others need you to be.
And if it’s been a while since you felt that? You’re not alone.
That’s why I created The Compass Method—for people like you.
People who are functioning just fine… but feeling off.
It starts with one thing: 🧭 Finding your bearings.
Not changing everything.
Not burning it all down.
Just noticing where you are—and asking: What part of me have I been putting on pause?
You don’t have to wait for a breakdown to make a shift.
Relief starts with noticing.
And noticing starts… here. |
